Test Probe 2 (Φ12.5mm Test Sphere)

1.Introduction

Test probe 1 (Φ12.5mm test sphere) is designed according to IEC61032 figure 5, and can meet the test requirement of IEC60529-IP. The diameter of the sphere is 50mm+0.05. The test probe 2 is the IP code probe for IP20 testing, normally an auxiliary handle made of insulating material will work with the probe for easier operation. This sphere is intended to verify the degree of protection of enclosures against ingress of solid foreign objects having a diameter of 12.5mm or greater.
