1. What is the High Temperature Pressure Test Device?
IEC60884-1 Figure 41 High temperature pressure test device is mainly used for high temperature performance test of materials of plugs, cables and optical cable insulation sheaths in harsh environments. The device applies a certain gravity to the sample in a high temperature environment and measures the depth of indentation after the test to detect the high temperature resistance of the sample. This equipment should be used with a heating cabinet. It fully complies with IEC60884-1 clause 30.1 figure 41 and IEC60811-3-1 clause 8 figure 1/2/3.
2. Application
- Plug insulation sheath: used to test the pressure resistance of plug insulation sheath in a high temperature environment.
- Cables and optical cables: The high tempersture pressure test apparatus is suitable for high temperature performance test of insulation and sheath of cables and optical cables greater than 0.4mm.
3. Structure
The IEC60884-1 high temperature pressure test machine typically comprises a hardness test stand, a round blade with a diameter of 6mm and an edge of 0.7mm, a rectangular blade with edge 0.7mm wide, and a load weight with 2.5N. Equipped with two stations, it enables efficient testing procedures.
