Overview

Electrical fast transient/ burst immunity test is a basice EMC test, designed according to IEC61000-4-4, it is to evaluate the impact on the original performance of the device under test when it suffers from transient disturbances.

1. Introduction

Electrical fast transient/ burst is usually be shorted as EFT/B, the EFT/B generator is to simulate the disturbance caused by switching inductive loads by mechanical switches in the power grid, and the transient disturbances are applied between the power line and the ground by the coupling and decoupling network, so the essence of this test is a common mode test, the test levels are given by table 1 of standard IEC61000-4-4.

The test voltage of burst generator is from 0.25KV to 5KV, which can cover all the test levels, and user can define the test level. The high amplitude, short rise time, high repetition rate are completely meet the requirement of IEC61000-4-4. And built-in 380V/16A coupling and decoupling network. The test voltage and CDN can be customized as per the user’s demands.
