Ring Wave Generator
1.Introduction
The ring wave is a typical oscillatory transient, induced in low-voltage cables due to switching of electrical networks and reactive loads, fault and insulation breakdown of power supply circuits or lightning. This is the most diffused phenomenon occurring in power supply networks, control and signal lines. The ring wave generator is designed according to IEC61000-4-12, it is applied to assess the ring wave immunity of electrical and electronic equipment intended for residential, commercial and industrial applications, and power stations and substations.
