Gauge for Two-Pin Flat-Pin Plugs with Parallel Pins (AS/NZS3112 Figure B1)

1. Introduction

Gauge for two-pin flat-pin plugs with parallel pins is designed according to AS/NZS 3112 figure B1 and clauses 2.8.1 and 2.13.7.2, for routine inspection of two-pin flat-pin plugs and straightness inspection of the pins before performing bending test. And the spacing of pins of two pin flat-pin plugs of the type shown in figure 2.1 (b) shall be checked with this gauge, the plug pins shall pass easily through the gauge at all depths of insertion.
