Handle Strength Test Apparatus (Model: PG-HST)

1.Introduction

The handle strength test apparatus is designed to meet the test requirement of to IEC62368-1-2018 clause 8.8, GB9706.1-2007 clause 21. It’s applied to test the strength of handle for lifting or carrying the equipment, like of portable medical equipment.

A weight exerts a force of 3 times or 2 times the weight of the equipment shall be uniformly applied over a 75mm width at the centre of the handle, without clamping. The additional weight shall be started at zero and gradually increased so that the test value is attained in 5s to 10s and maintained for 60s. After the test, the handle shall not break, crack, or detach from the equipment.
