IPX5/6 and IPX9K Comprehensive Waterproof Test Chamber
1. Introduction
IPX69K High temperature and high pressure jet spray waterproof test chamber can meet the test requirements of IEC60529, DIN40050-9 figure 7 and ISO20653 figure 8 and 9. The equipment can perform the test of IPX5, IPX6, IPX6K and IPX9K testing. The user can define the test parameters by 7 inch LCD touch screen, and equipment is auto controlled by PLC (Panasonic). The nozzles, turntable and inner box are made by stainless steel, built in waterproof socket-outlet to support live test. The electrical equipment in road vehicles, motors, electric components and auto parts to should carry on the waterproof test. After the test, the user can judge if the performance of the product can meet the requirements or not, and then do the re-designing and improvement.

IPX5 Water jets
Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects. Test duration: at least 15 minutes. Volume: 12.5 litres per minute. Pressure 30 kPa at distance of 3 m.
IPX6 Powerful water jets
Water projected in powerful jets (12.5 mm nozzle) against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects. Test duration: at least 3 minutes. Volume: 100 litres per minute,. Pressure 100 kPa at distance of 3 m.
IPX6-K Powerful water jets with increased pressure
Water projected in powerful jets (6.3 mm nozzle) against the enclosure from any direction, under elevated pressure, shall have no harmful effects. Test duration: at least 3 minutes. Water volume: 75 litres per minute. Pressure: 1000 kPa at distance of 3 m.
IPX9K High Pressure/Steam Water Jets Cleaning
Water projected in high pressure high temperature against the enclosure from 4 directions (0°, 30°, 60°, 90°) shall have no harmful effects. Test duration: 30s per direction. Water volume: 14~16 litres per minute. Pressure: 8000~10000 Kpa. Temperature: 80±5℃. Test distance: 100 to 150mm.
