Overview

The splash water test chamber is designed to meet the test requirement of ISO16750-4 clause 5.4.2 to simulate ice water splashing over a hot system or components when driving on wet roads in the winter

1.Introduction

The splash water test chamber meets the requirement of ISO16750-4 clause 5.4.2. It can be used for splash water or high temperature test alone, to simulate ice water splashing over a hot system or components when driving on wet roads in the winter. Failure modes are mechanical cracking of materials or seal failures caused by different temperature expansion coefficients. It’s a reliability testing equipment for cold resistance, heat resistance, ice water splash resistance test and quality control engineering of various electronic, electrical, plastic and other raw materials and devices.

Water source

1).The user is required to configure a water source for the equipment at the installation site, with a water pressure not less than 0.2Mpa, and install a 4/8 inch faucet.

2).The faucet is not more than 2 meters away from the equipment

Requirement for the site

1). The ground is level, the drainage is unobstructed, the ground and walls are waterproofed, and the floor drain or drainage ditch is set

2). The ground bearing capacity is not less than 200kg/m2

3). Appropriate space for use and maintenance is reserved around the equipment. Top and side are 800mm suggested, and front is 1500mm suggested

Requirement for power switch

1) . The user is required to configure the leakage protection air switch of the corresponding capacity for the equipment at the installation site, and this switch must be independent for the use of the equipment

2). It is forbidden to use knife switches or power sockets

3).The leakage protection air switch is not more than 2 meters away from the equipment
