It is used for the insulating thin layer of the power transformer and supply unit as well as the similar products to do the mandrel test, mechanical strength test and abrasion test

Mandrel Test Equipment for Insulation Film Abrasion Test

1. Introduction

Mandrel Test Equipment is designed according to IEC61588 figure 6, IEC60950 annex A, IEC60065 figure 14 to 17 and GB1921. It is used for the insulating thin layer of the power transformer and supply unit as well as the similar products to do the mandrel test, mechanical strength test and abrasion test.
This test device will have a mechanical limit in the position of 10° and 230° to make sure the accuracy of the testing angle. The weights are with suspension loop to prevent the sample from damage due to the large stress.

 

2. Specification

The triangle mandrel and the tip are processed by one piece, and made of steel plated with hard chrome

Angle of mandrel: 3*R0.5mm±0.02mm

Angle of tip: R0.5mm±0.02mm

Test method

The metal foil and mandrel should be rotated slowly and without jerks at 2300 from initial position to final position for 3 times

-from the initial position to the final position and back

-as above for the second time

-from the initial position to the final position
