IEC 60884-1 Maximum and Minimum Withdrawal Force Test Apparatus
The apparatus for verification of maximum and minimum withdrawal force is designed to meet the test requirements of IEC60884-1 clasue 22. It is applied to verify if the withdrawal force of the test plugs and test single-pins from socket-outlets can be meet the standard requirements. This apparatus is to test the socket-outlets have rated voltage not exceeding 250V and rated current less than 16A, the test plug gauge and single-pin gauge can be customized as per the customer requirements.
For socket-outlet, the test is to ascertain that maximum force necessary to withdraw the test plug from the socket-outlet is not higher than the force specified in table 16 of standard IEC60884-1; and to ascertain that the minimum force necesary to withdraw a single pin gauge from the individual contact assembly is not lower than the force specified in table 16 of standard IEC60884-1.
For plug, with resilient earthing contact assemblies, the test is to ascertain that the maximum force necessary to withdraw a single pin gauge from the individual resilient earthing contact assembliy of the plug is not higher than the force specified in table 16 of standard IEC60884-1; and to ascertain that the minimum force necessary to withdraw a single pin gauge from the individual earthing contact assembiliy is not lower than the foece specified in table 16 of standard IEC60884-1.
