UL94 Horizontal and Vertical Flame Test Apparatus
Overview

Horizontal and vertical flame test apparatus is applied to simulate the fire at the early stage surround the electric and electronics appliance, and then evaluate the degree of fire hazard. It is designed according to UL94, IEC60695-11-4, IEC60695-11-3, IEC60950, IEC707, IEC60695-2-2, ISO1210 and etc.

1.Introduction

Horizontal and vertical flame test apparatus an meet the test requirements of UL94, IEC60695-11-4, IEC60695-11-3, IEC60950, IEC707, IEC60695-2-2, ISO1210 and etc.. The flame test is to simulate the fire at the early stage surround the electric and electronics appliance, and then evaluate the degree of fire hazard. Horizontal and vertical flame test apparatus is applied to 50W vertical flame test includes V-0, V-1, V-2, horizontal flame tester HB. And 500W vertical flame test includes 5VA, 5VB, HF-1, HF-2 and HBF.

The horizontal and vertical flame test apparatus is controlled by single chip and push button. And the test apparatus is built-in air exhaust, the exhaust system can be preset to delay 1-3mins after power off. The front panel is transparent for easy observation of the experimental process. Fully independent electrical circuit and gas circuit design for safer use.

Flame calibrations

1). Flame temperature required: heat up from 1000C±50C to 7000C±30C within the time of 44s±2s (50W) and 54s±2s (500W)

2). Flame height: 50W: 20±2mm (50W)  500W: 40±2mm (inner), 125±10mm (outer)

3). Thermocouple: Φ0.5mm K type thermocouple (The insulating sleeve heat resist to 1250 ℃), 2 pieces to detect the temperature
