Non Solid Pin Tester for Testing Non-Solid Pins of Appliance Couplers
1. Introduction
Non-solid pin tester designs according to IEC60320-1 figure 2, for verifying the the mechanical strength of non-solid pins of appliance inlet / plug connector.
A force of 100N is exerted on the pin which is supported on the test device, for 1min in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the pin, by mean of a steel rod have a diameter of 4.8mm, the axis of which is also at right angles to the axis of the pin. After the test, there shall be no significant alteration in the shape of the pin.
