Endurance Testing Machine for Testing the Breaking Capacity and Normal Operation of Appliance Couplers
1. Introduction
The endurance test machine designs to meet the test requirements of IEC60320-1:2015, for breaking capacity test as per clause 19 and normal operation test as per clause 20 of connector and appliance outlet. However, for testing standardized type of connector or appliance inlet, counterpart appliance inlet or plug connector shall have polished and hardened steel pins, and dimension as specified in the relevant standard sheet.
The number of working station is selectable as per user’s requirement (that is depends on how many specimens that will be tested at one time). The endurance test apparatus uses the servo motor to drive the slide rail assembly with clamps to do reciprocating rectilinear movement, thereby completing the insertion and extraction of connector/appliance outlet and appliance inlet/plug connector. Also, using universal mounting fixture (X, Y, Z three-axis adjustable) to hold the sample. And the test speed, test times and power on-off time can be preset by 7 inch touch screen,and controlled by PLC. The test apparatus adopts workbench design, and equip with 4 casters to make the machine moves easily.
