2. Working Principle

The salt spray test machine atomizes the brine and then sprays the salt fog into the test chamber, placing the test samples in the simulated salt – fog environment. During this process, components such as sodium chloride in the salt fog will chemically react with the surface of the samples, thereby accelerating the corrosion rate of the samples. By controlling parameters such as the concentration of the salt fog, temperature, humidity, and spray time, different degrees of corrosion environments can be simulated to evaluate the corrosion resistance of materials or products in actual use.
