IPX8 High Pressure Water Tank

1. Introduction

The high pressure water tank is designed for IPX8 test according to IEC60529. The test simulates the condition under 0 to 50m below the water. The tank size can be customized as per the specimen. IPX8 is an open level, the test conditions are subject to agreement between manufacturer and user, but they shall be severe than those prescribed in IPX7 test, and they shall take account of the condition that the enclosure will be continuously immersed in actual use. Waterproof test simulates the condition of raining, which is mainly applied to electronic products, luminaire, electric components, motor and house-holding appliance. The waterproof test can help to judge the products’ performance, and provide the basis for design, improve and inspect.
